Your MillBox dongle number is a unique 4- or 5-digit code tied to your software license.
This number may be required when renewing annual maintenance, modifying your license, or requesting advanced support.
Keeping your dongle updated ensures continued access to the latest MillBox features and software improvements.
Accessing the Support Window
You can locate your dongle number through the Support Window, available in MillBox using one of two methods:
Method 1: Using the Title Bar
Right-click on the MillBox title bar at the top of your window.
A drop-down menu will appear.
Click Support.

A pop-up window will appear showing your MillBox CAM's software and dongle details.

Your dongle number is shown under the License section, followed by the year of maintenance coverage in parentheses.
Example: Dongle n. 45201 (2025)
Note: You will only be able to access updates for a specific year if your dongle includes maintenance for that year or later.
Method 2: Using the Support Button (MillBox v2018+)
In the left sidebar, click Job Management.

Within the Job Management panel, click the Support button.

This will open the same Support Window shown in Method 1, where you’ll find your dongle number and license info.
By following these steps, you’ll be able to locate your dongle number and ensure your MillBox software remains current and compliant with your license agreement.
